First day of chemo
First day of chemo was on the 16th. Found out that I'm allergic to chemo. They had to stop the chemo and give me a bunch of benadryl then start the chemo again.

Thanksgiving and the NEW stepping stones since...
Terry and Gloria got word the day before Thanksgiving that the cancer of 2003 has come to re-visit Gloria. This time it brought a friend. Yes- dang it.... The breast cancer is back one in one breast and another type in the other. Gloria has been CT scanned, Monogrammed, Ultra sounded, PET Scanned and had an Eco-cardiogram. Crazy last few weeks. We are going to try to keep a blog to give Gloria a break and to keep up with phone calls and having to repeat-repeat and repeating the story over and over.
So here is the story....
Back in 2003, two weeks after Terry proposed to Gloria, she was diagnosed with cancer in the left breast. She had surgery the first week of August, and married Terry for time and all eternity in the Bountiful Temple the end of that month. They then moved to California to start a brand new life. Gloria started radiation right away and it last for about 4 months. Life continued and was very good. Cancer free and very happy with Terry and Gloria.
In August 2004,after a birth of a certain little boy named Brickman who was born in June, our grandson, We felt it was best to move closer to Utah. We needed to be closer to my family. We made our way to Manti, UT --Terry worked for the BSA.
Manti was wonderful for Terry and Gloria they had to rely on each other and become very close. They both worked hard and Terry's talents were recognized by moving him to the main BSA office in Orem. He continued to work and grow. Meanwhile Gloria started a job with a crook in of a school. She had good intentions to work for a Private school in Salt Lake. She was their PE teacher, Health teacher, Volleyball, and Athletic Director. Then the checks started to bounce. Yes the Crook took Gloria for $8000 and declared bankruptcy to cover his own Heine.. Yes- he has to live with himself,, I only hope he has guilt. A lot of it.
At this point of our crazy life we moved to Eagle Mountain. This is where we reside at this time. Terry and Gloria both continued to work very hard. Gloria started a job at a private residential treatment center. She taught PE , Health and Geography. After about a year she became the academic supervisor for the female campus. Gloria loves her job. She still has a lot to learn. She loves the people she works with. They are so kind and help her every way possible. Terry has been promoted again in his job. He now works with the financial part of the BSA department. Terry and Gloria help each other with each others jobs. When there is a fund raiser that needs to be done. Gloria throws her ideas in... Terry may or may not take them but he does at least listen.. When Gloria is getting behind with registration for school, Terry will come to help read class options to Gloria to make her light a bit lighter. We are a very good team.
Well along with the stresses of the jobs, traveling 35 minutes plus each day to work (one way) Gloria had some health problems sneak in .

The Holidays
Hi All!
We want to wish you all a Happy 2009. How time flies. We've had Jenni submitting our posting on this blog from the beginning. If you link to her blog(s) you'll see she needed resigned her post as our personal secretary, so she can work on her own sites. Terry then put this link our Christmas cards, which we are (we admit) slackers. Busy, Busy, Busy!!
Gloria completed her classes in administration in December. She has submitted her portfolio and is waiting to hear from the district(s). She is also working hard at a treatment center in Provo, teaching PE and Health.
Terry is working on new year (end of year) scouting. He is busy trying to recover from his shoulder surgery in August. It takes a while to recoup.
We spent Christmas with Terry parents in California and had a great time. We even made it to Disneyland in the rain. By the way Haskell is not fair when playing "UNO." We didn't say he cheats.... he just is NOT fair. And Betty, Who gets four Yahtzee's in one game... I mean..... really???? Obviously we both lost when playing games with our parents.
We love spending time with Jenni, Jared, Janell, Brandon, Brickman and Baby Teagan. We enjoyed Janell's late birthday party. Playing games with all, and just hanging out... Building trains tracks with Brickman and spending Grandma Glori time with Teagan. Grandma Glori has been named "Baby HOG."
We are heading back to Star Valley this weekend to see Mom and Dad. Hopefully we'll have picture's to submit when we return.... Enjoy the current pics! Take care all!
