Answering the challenge
Okay. So terry and I are on our way to Morgan Thursday afternoon...... We stop in Heber City to get som last minute items..... There was a grandma (older) who was trying to go to her car.... Typical selfish people would not let her cross the street. She had a cart an a cane. I asked if we could help she said NO. Being the stuborn person I am I gave Terry the cart...stop the traffic a walked her to her car. Terry unloaded her grocerys and everyone looked at us like we were freaks. It was awesome!!! The grandma. Very appreciative. So. I say. Merry christmas. Love the look on peoples faces when oi stopped the traffic in the parking lot. Priceless!! Keep up the good work.

Thanksgiving and the NEW stepping stones since...
Terry and Gloria got word the day before Thanksgiving that the cancer of 2003 has come to re-visit Gloria. This time it brought a friend. Yes- dang it.... The breast cancer is back one in one breast and another type in the other. Gloria has been CT scanned, Monogrammed, Ultra sounded, PET Scanned and had an Eco-cardiogram. Crazy last few weeks. We are going to try to keep a blog to give Gloria a break and to keep up with phone calls and having to repeat-repeat and repeating the story over and over.
So here is the story....
Back in 2003, two weeks after Terry proposed to Gloria, she was diagnosed with cancer in the left breast. She had surgery the first week of August, and married Terry for time and all eternity in the Bountiful Temple the end of that month. They then moved to California to start a brand new life. Gloria started radiation right away and it last for about 4 months. Life continued and was very good. Cancer free and very happy with Terry and Gloria.
In August 2004,after a birth of a certain little boy named Brickman who was born in June, our grandson, We felt it was best to move closer to Utah. We needed to be closer to my family. We made our way to Manti, UT --Terry worked for the BSA.
Manti was wonderful for Terry and Gloria they had to rely on each other and become very close. They both worked hard and Terry's talents were recognized by moving him to the main BSA office in Orem. He continued to work and grow. Meanwhile Gloria started a job with a crook in of a school. She had good intentions to work for a Private school in Salt Lake. She was their PE teacher, Health teacher, Volleyball, and Athletic Director. Then the checks started to bounce. Yes the Crook took Gloria for $8000 and declared bankruptcy to cover his own Heine.. Yes- he has to live with himself,, I only hope he has guilt. A lot of it.
At this point of our crazy life we moved to Eagle Mountain. This is where we reside at this time. Terry and Gloria both continued to work very hard. Gloria started a job at a private residential treatment center. She taught PE , Health and Geography. After about a year she became the academic supervisor for the female campus. Gloria loves her job. She still has a lot to learn. She loves the people she works with. They are so kind and help her every way possible. Terry has been promoted again in his job. He now works with the financial part of the BSA department. Terry and Gloria help each other with each others jobs. When there is a fund raiser that needs to be done. Gloria throws her ideas in... Terry may or may not take them but he does at least listen.. When Gloria is getting behind with registration for school, Terry will come to help read class options to Gloria to make her light a bit lighter. We are a very good team.
Well along with the stresses of the jobs, traveling 35 minutes plus each day to work (one way) Gloria had some health problems sneak in .
