Crazy three weeks!!

WOW! The past two weeks have been crazy for Terry and I. On Tuesday, Feb 21, Terry's dad went into the hospital for his FIRST surgery ever. He is 82 and had quintuple bypass surgery. He did well throughout the "first" surgery. He is NOT doing so well on the recovery. He fell twice in the hospital and broke his sternum apart. So frustrating. Todate he has now had three more surgeries and is recovering in the hospital. So I have spent most of the past three week in the hospital. I have to know my own limits and had to take rest periodically. We are hoping he will go to a rehab center for more recovery soon. The nurses look down on computers in the ICU and the regular rooms are so small I have had a hard time keeping up with the blog.
I feel so bad for Terry his dealing with all of MY cancer. He is dealing with his dad in the hopital, calling him at night wanting him to come and stay with him. He has a new boss and is trying to do all that is required, plus even more if possible. He is doing a great job! He just needs sleep. Oh how I love this man.
