Update:
Two days ago, dad and Brandon took mom to the hospital on Dr. Rich's orders. They did a bunch on tests and scans. Today Dr. Rich came in and gave them results of the scans. There is more fluid in there lung that they are going to drain off today and they are also going to do a MRI today. And the cancer in her liver has doubled in size.
The Dr. gave them two options that they can do.
- stop the chemo and manage the pain with meds and send her home
or
- try another chemo that has 20-30% chance of working.
They have not made a decision on this yet. It is something they want to decide on as a couple.
Mom doesn't really want visitors right now at the hospital. The room is super tiny that she is in. She would prefer to be at home. So more tests today and hopefully she can get some rest.
