This has been my few the past three days. The 7th floor of Ut Valley hospital. I started chemo again last Thursday. Sometimes I think the nurses get so numb to what they do all day they forget YOU! So-they didn't send me home with the need prescriptions to fight off infections -nausea etc. Needless to say I was one sick girl. Fever-and sick-oh so sick. On Monday I was admitted. Had a great doctor in the hospital. He told me it wasn't fair I had to go through all this. TRUE--but--and I had him look out the window. (The pic). "Look out that window". I said. "What do you see??". "Well- I see a beautiful snow. covered mountains that GOD gave us. Blue skies, and an amazing day" "It's all in the perspective." "Some people probably drive home at night and haven't even noticed it ". Today my doctor said he looked at the mountains a little differently because of what I had said. He told me that it still isn't fair I have cancer but that I was one who does help others look at the BIG picture. I cried! So-- its a beautiful day I'm grateful to see it!

Hi Gloria - Gwen here. You might remember me, I'm Landon Rich's mom. You are such an inspiration to me ! You are amazing. You were one of Landon's FAVORITE teachers in middle school. He just loved you. Still does, and he would still come up to you and give you a BIG HUG if he saw you tomorrow. Don't know where he got the hugging gene, but I love it :) He and his wife just had a new baby boy (first) about 3 weeks ago. He is a great dad, and that baby is so sweet :) I love working with Janel every week a Bountiful Baskets in Morgan. She is so fun to be around - must be like her mama ! Take care, we are praying for you ! I'm driving through Provo today (twice) on my way to and from Price for meetings. I'll be sure and look at those beautiful mountains with new eyes, thanks to you!
Gwen- I remember you and many other fantastic people from Morgan. I love(d) Landon. He was such a fun kid. The kids in Morgan made a lasting impression of GOOD on me. (Must be their mothers). Please tell Landon and one of my sweet twins (lost her name sorry) congratulation on their sweet baby bOy!! Thank you for taking care of my sweet girl Janell. I love her so much. If I had to leave her.. I'm glad she has good friends and is a go getter! Love my girl!
